Sorry if I haven't replied to some of the comments, I think I've set this blog up differently and it doesn't tell me when there are new comments.

Thanks for the insider information Gobshyte you were right about Jol, but from what I was listening to tonight it seems it's not a done deal yet, they were saying either Jol or Fulham have to pay 2 million Euros to secure his release from Ajax and at the moment Ajax don't want to part with him, it could be Ajax are holding out for more as they are broke at the moment or it was suggested Jol might be using the Fulham interest to strengthen his own position at Ajax and try to get some funds for new players? we shall see.
I like Jol he has that classic sleazy dutch accent which makes me think of old porn films :)

Gerrard sounds enthusiastic about what's happening at Liverpool, with Hodgson taking over and the signing of Joe Cole, could be a better season for them .. (shame) :)
Although word coming out of Liverpool is that Hodgson may rest all his World cup players for their opening Champions league qualifier next week, sounds a bit Rafa like.

A large selection of Premier league clubs have now banned the vuvuzela's for a variety of reasons, Tottenham on health and safety reasons, Everton were honest and said they were just irritating and trust West Ham to point out they could be used as weapons.
