Highlight probably Leicester v Liverpool on Boxing day, hopefully Leicester will go all out for a win and be knackered on Saturday 😆
With the improvement of Watford, Norwich and Southampton no games look
easy to predict, except maybe the Villa games as they look really poor
recently and have just lost one of their best players McGinn.

Tottenham v Brighton
Aston Villa v Norwich

R.I.P Martin Peters
Sadly Martin Peters died today aged 76.
One of the 3 Hammers to play in the 1966 World Cup win, scored the 2nd goal which would have been the winner if Germany hadn't equalised in the last minute.
Never actually saw him play for West Ham and was disappointed when he signed for Tottenham in 1970.
Did see him play in the flesh a few times for Tottenham and Norwich.

Premier Predictions (Week 18)
Last round of games before Christmas, 7 games Saturday and 2 on Sunday and one not happening (West Ham v Liverpool has been postponed while Liverpool are off on their Jolly in Qatar).

Mourinho's Tottenham play Lampard's Chelsea which could be good, and a battle of the temporary managers for Duncan Ferguson and Freddie Ljunberg.
Everton v Arsenal
Aston Villa v Southampton
Bournemouth v Burnley
Brighton v Sheff Utd
Newcastle v Crystal Palace
Norwich v Wolves
West Ham v Liverpool (Postponed)
Man City v Leicester
Watford v Man Utd
Tottenham v Chelsea
Good Luck All, and Merry Christmas 😃

Premier Predictions (Week 17)
Busy week for Liverpool with Saturday's early kick off against bottom team Watford, the Caribou Cup at Villa on Tuesday and off to Qatar to play either Monterrey or Al-Sadd on Wednesday plus another game on Saturday in Qatar.
They duck West Ham next week although I think the kids should play that one as well (to help Liverpool's fixture congestion of course) 🤣
Leicester and Chelsea should win and Man City will probably take their chances against Arsenal (unlike us).
Oh! and there's a relegation 6 pointer at the New Dell 😔
6 games on Saturday, 3 on Sunday and the M23 derby on Monday.
Liverpool v Watford
Burnley v Newcastle
Chelsea v Bournemouth
Leicester v Norwich
Sheff Utd v Aston Villa
Southampton v West Ham
Man Utd v Everton
Wolves v Tottenham
Arsenal v Man City
Crystal Palace v Brighton
Good Luck All 😃

Premier Predictions (Week 16)
Fixtures coming thick and fast in December.
Here's this weekends games, 5 on Saturday, 4 on Sunday and the Hammers v Gooners on Monday (hopefully Ljungberg will be as rubbish as a manager at West Ham as he was as a player for us).
Manchester derby on Saturday, Liverpool and Chelsea go to teams having a bad time but Leicester's winning run might come to an end?
Everton v Chelsea
Bournemouth v Liverpool
Tottenham v Burnley
Watford v Crystal Palace
Man City v Man Utd
Aston Villa v Leicester
Newcastle v Southampton
Norwich v Sheff Utd
Brighton v Wolves
West Ham v Arsenal

Premier Predictions (Week 15)
I know this week hasn't ended yet, but we've got midweek games coming up so best to get in early.
2 games on Tuesday, 6 on Wednesday and 2 more on Thursday to keep the people on Amazon Prime happy.
Tuesday Man City go to Burnley who before Saturday looked a tough nut to crack.
On Wednesday Livarpool have a merseyside derby against under performing Everton with Adrian in goal, Leicester play managerless Watford and I'm praying the same West Ham team plays as well as Saturday away to in-form Wolves.
7:30 and 8:15 Kick offs to confuse matters even more 😕
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth
Burnley v Man City
Chelsea v Aston Villa
Leicester v Watford
Man Utd v Tottenham
Southampton v Norwich
Wolves v West Ham
Liverpool v Everton
Sheff Utd v Newcastle
Arsenal v Brighton

Premier Predictions (Week 14)
Lots of fixtures coming up, here's this weekends games (week 14), will post the midweek fixtures (week 15) by Saturday, and the following weekend (week 16) sometime next week.
Does that make sense 😕
Anyway this week 6 games on Saturday and 4 on Sunday.
Man City need to do better than last season away at Newcastle, but no Aguero and a pretty average performance in midweek make you wonder.
Hopefully Abraham is not too badly injured just enough to miss saturday's game 😆, I fear for the Hammers especially if he persists with Roberto?
Liverpool and new improved Tottenham should win.
On Sunday Norwich could finish off Emery? the other games look like home wins but you never know?
Newcastle v Man City
Burnley v Crystal Palace
Chelsea v West Ham
Liverpool v Brighton
Tottenham v Bournemouth
Southampton v Watford
Norwich v Arsenal
Wolves v Sheff Utd
Leicester v Everton
Man Utd v Aston Villa

West Ham v Tottenham
Arsenal v Southampton
Bournemouth v Wolves
Brighton v Leicester
Crystal Palace v Liverpool

Premier Predictions (Week 12)
Friday start again this week, 6 games on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.
Obvious big game on Sunday with the top 2 meeting for the first time this season with both misfiring a bit recently, Man City's injuries carry on with Ederson looking unlikely to play, which should make Liverpool favourites.
Best of the rest Leicester v Arsenal, looks like a nailed on home win but Arsenal were their bogey team, although they have won 2 of the last 3 after no wins in 20.
Norwich v Watford
Chelsea v Crystal Palace
Burnley v West Ham
Newcastle v Bournemouth
Southampton v Everton
Tottenham v Sheff Utd

Premier Predictions (Week 11)
Usually try to post these by Thursday, but spent last night thinking it was Wednesday? old age is setting in fast 😕
This week has 8 games on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.
A few tricky games this week with the Sunday games hard to call, main story this week will be can Southampton bounce back with a shock win or will Leicester's nine goals be beaten?
Bournemouth v Man Utd
Arsenal v Wolves
Aston Villa v Liverpool
Brighton v Norwich
Man City v Southampton
Sheff Utd v Burnley
West Ham v Newcastle
Watford v Chelsea
Crystal Palace v Leicester
Everton v Tottenham

Premier Predictions (Week 10)
Week 10 a quarter of the season already done!!
Good week for the English in Europe (so far), bad week for my local club Southend, get a new International managerial team of Sol Campbell, Andy Cole and Hermann Hreidarsson an hour before kick off, then have 2 players sent off and lose 7-1 at home!!
Friday start this week with Leicester hoping to go 2nd, 5 games on Saturday with Man City hoping to cut the gap at the top to 3 points.
Grudge match at the Olympic stadium, should invite Tevez over for that 😆
4 games on Sunday, Liverpool should beat "new improved" Tottenham but you never know?
Southampton v Leicester
Man City v Aston Villa
Brighton v Everton
Watford v Bournemouth
West Ham v Sheff Utd
Burnley v Chelsea
Newcastle v Wolves
Arsenal v Crystal Palace
Liverpool v Tottenham
Norwich v Man Utd

Premier Predictions (Week 09)
Finally back to the real stuff, at least I catch up on sleep during England games 😁
8 games on Saturday and one each on Sunday and Monday.
Hopefully Everton will keep up their recent form and roll over for the Hammers in the Saturday lunchtime game.
Man City go to bogey side Palace on Saturday evening, surely they can't drop any more points as on Sunday Liverpool look to have their easiest game of the season, I know there is a history in these games but Liverpool should be looking at a record score here?
Will Watford finally get a win? good time to be playing Tottenham.
Everton v West Ham
Aston Villa v Brighton
Bournemouth v Norwich
Chelsea v Newcastle
Leicester v Burnley
Tottenham v Watford
Wolves v Southampton
Crystal Palace v Man City
Man Utd v Liverpool
Sheff Utd v Arsenal

Table Updates
International week is underway, so time to show the current positions in the Fantasy footy leagues and the full predictions table.
NBTF Predictions League
Fantasy Premier League
9 players this season, best ever including 3 people I don't know and a couple from my TFF league.
(I did advertise and say all welcome) 😃
Telegraph Fantasy Football
Different rules this season, all free and 5 teams maximum so it's pretty open.
A decent 91 teams despite a few regulars missing.
Telegraph Fantasy Football European Super League
New competition this season, includes all the games for 20 top Euro teams.
5 teams each but have only got 25 teams so far, but have made a decent start 😃

Premier Predictions (Week 08)
6 games on Saturday, 4 on Sunday in the final week before yet another International break.
England have 2 trips to Eastern Europe away to the Czech republic and Bulgaria.
Big game will be Liverpool v Leicester, Liverpool on a run but Jamie Vardy likes playing them and Salzburg showed the defence can be got at. Both need their injured players back Maddison and Matip.
Tottenham will be glad to be playing Brighton who are unlikely to score 7 goals against anyone 🤣
Man City should win as Wolves are playing in Turkey tonight, hopefully West Ham can keep up their good record against Palace, and the other games all look hard to pick.
Brighton v Tottenham
Burnley v Everton
Liverpool v Leicester
Norwich v Aston Villa
Watford v Sheff Utd
West Ham v Crystal Palace
Arsenal v Bournemouth
Man City v Wolves
Southampton v Chelsea
Newcastle v Man Utd

Premier Predictions (Week 07)
One day of fun after Tottenham were beaten by Colchester 😆
but then we get played off the park by Oxford grrrr!! 😠
Football is a cruel game 😢
Oh well back to the competition, here comes week 7.
8 games on Saturday and one each on Sunday and Monday.
Big games are probably Man City going to inconsistent Everton, and the Hammers going to the other embarrassed losers Bournemouth.
Man U v Arsenal doesn't really count as a big game anymore.
Actually all the games are quite hard to call? 😕
Sheff Utd v Liverpool
Aston Villa v Burnley
Bournemouth v West Ham
Chelsea v Brighton
Crystal Palace v Norwich
Tottenham v Southampton
Wolves v Watford
Everton v Man City
Leicester v Newcastle
Man Utd v Arsenal

Premier Predictions (Week 04)
8 games on Saturday and 2 on Sunday before the 1st International break of the year.
England playing 2 Euro 2020 qualifiers at home against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Will it be another low scoring week or a Paulo special??
Southampton v Man Utd
Chelsea v Sheff Utd
Crystal Palace v Aston Villa
Leicester v Bournemouth
Man City v Brighton
Newcastle v Watford
West Ham v Norwich
Burnley v Liverpool
Everton v Wolves
Arsenal v Tottenham
Good Luck All :)

Premier Predictions (Week 03)
Another early start to this week with a Friday night game, followed by 6 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.
The only 2 teams with 100% record Liverpool and Arsenal play a top of the table clash on Saturday, so a maximum of 1 team with 3 wins after that it could be a tight season?

The only 2 teams with 100% record Liverpool and Arsenal play a top of the table clash on Saturday, so a maximum of 1 team with 3 wins after that it could be a tight season?
Aston Villa v Everton
Norwich v Chelsea
Brighton v Southampton
Man Utd v Crystal Palace
Sheff Utd v Leicester
Watford v West Ham
Liverpool v Arsenal
Bournemouth v Man City
Tottenham v Newcastle
Wolves v Burnley
Good Luck All :)

Premier Predictions (Week 02)
Games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday this week.
Man City v Tottenham on Saturday night could be a classic after last season's Champions league matches.
West Ham have never beaten Brighton in the Premier league, so it would be a good time to start?
So here is week 2.
Arsenal v Burnley
Aston Villa v Bournemouth
Brighton v West Ham
Everton v Watford
Norwich v Newcastle
Southampton v Liverpool
Man City v Tottenham
Sheff Utd v Crystal Palace
Chelsea v Leicester
Wolves v Man Utd
Good Luck All :)
Super Cup (watching as I type)
What a great game, hard to believe Chelsea have had 2 fewer days to prepare and came off the back of a thrashing on Sunday when Liverpool won well on Friday.
Mason Mount looks a player and a future England star.
Liverpool lucky to get it to penalties, but came through at the end.
Not sure why Pedro didn't take the last one as Tammy Abraham looked petrified, great for Adrian though (top keeper) :)

Andy Carroll
I liked Andy Carroll, if he only he could have stayed fit he could have been a West Ham legend.
But 32 goals in just 120 appearances in 7 years just kept the physio's busy.
Hope he does well at Newcastle as long as he doesn't get fit for the games against West Ham.
Thanks to News Thump for this - Full Story

Premier Predictions (Week 01)
It's time for the Premier League again.
Premier Predictions 2019-20 is up and running.
Premier league is back on Friday, the first of many re-arranged games this season with all the different TV companies grabbing a handful.
As far as I can see Sky have the majority on Friday through to Monday, BT have the Saturday lunchtime games, and Amazon have got all the midweek (Tuesday to Thursday) games.
T&C's - Usual rules apply
3 Points for a correct score, 1 Point for a correct result.
Predictions League will be decided on weekly wins first, if 2 or more people share a weekly win that will be classed as a draw, if at the end things are still level the toal points for the season come into play.
Predictions in the comments please :)
Hopefully the regular players will be back and anyone reading this blog is welcome to join in at any point, just let me know a name and club supported.
Obviously predictions will only count if they are made before the kick offs, please try and post the whole set at once but I won't enforce it as these Friday night games catch everyone out including me.
Prizes - Not much!! just a picture of a Trophy and the admiration of everyone who plays 😎
First set - Friday 9th to Sunday 11th
Liverpool v Norwich
West Ham v Man City
Bournemouth v Sheff Utd
Burnley v Southampton
Crystal Palace v Everton
Watford v Brighton
Tottenham v Aston Villa
Leicester v Wolves
Newcastle v Arsenal
Man Utd v Chelsea
It's also the European Super Duper Cup on Wednesday in Istanbul, and it looks like Chelsea have been screwed over as they have to play away to Man Utd at 4:30pm on Sunday when Liverpool's game was brought forward to Friday?
Good Luck All 😃

Fantasy Football 2019-2020
This years Fantasy Football info for joining up to my leagues
Telegraph Fantasy Football (TFF)
They have changed the rules this year, ALL FREE this time with up to 5 teams each.
Limited cash prizes, but most of us never get close, I've only managed £500 of prizes in 20 years of playing and I've probably spent that much playing the game.
So all welcome (not sure if it's available to non UK residents now it's free?).

Break Over
Wow, over two and a half months since my last post?
Real life really getting in the way.
Not sure when the season actually ended with all the various continental cup competitions only finishing a couple of weeks ago, and the early rounds of European competition already in full swing.
Championship starts tonight and the other leagues tomorrow, Charity Shield on Sunday and the real footie starts next Friday.
Transfer market is already crazy and will update the spending frenzy sometime after Thursdays deadline.
Will make all those posts I've been putting off in the next couple of days (probably).
Premier League predictions back very soon, and hopefully the regulars will be back to make a competition of it.
Fantasy football has taken a hit as my competition of choice has gone free with a 5 team maximum and crap prizes, which is annoying as I'm probably going to have more time on my hands after September when my latest work redundancy happens :(
Stay tuned :)

Premier Predictions (Week 38)
The final week :(
Biopunk can relax, Gibbo Paul and myself are after the runner up spot.
In the Premier league there is only one thing left to play for, if City turn up at Brighton that will be sorted. If Brighton perform a miracle Liverpool have to beat Wolves a team that have 6 wins against top 6 sides this season.
West ham need a win for a top 10 spot which is not too bad considering the start.
Brighton v Man City
Burnley v Arsenal
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth
Fulham v Newcastle
Leicester v Chelsea
Liverpool v Wolves
Man Utd v Cardiff
Southampton v Huddersfield
Tottenham v Everton
Watford v West Ham
+ Just for completion (not included in the scores for this week)
Man City v Watford (F.A Cup Final)
Good Luck All :)
Still the F.A Cup and 2 European finals as well as the Nations league finals to come, but as far as the predictions go we'll do it all again in 14 weeks :)

Dilemma
Wow!!!
Tottenham and Liverpool both coming back from 3 goals down to win.
Totally mixed emotions, the 2 teams I dislike the most for personal historical reasons have just given us 2 unbelievable games, and I cheered them both on ????
No idea who I'll go for in the final?
You've gotta love Football 😁
Hopefully Arsenal and Chelsea will make it a clean sweep for English teams tomorrow?

Premier Predictions (Week 37)
Just 2 weeks to go 😢
A lot of fixture changes this week due to Europe and TV money, starts Friday night then 5 games on Saturday from 12:30 to 19:45, 3 games Sunday and the City v Leicester game is now on Monday.
Cardiff have to win to have a chance of staying up and put some pressure on Brighton.
At the top Liverpool need to bounce back away at Newcastle after the Barcelona game, Man City face in form Leicester.
The other top 4 contenders? might grab some points this week (or maybe not?).
Everton v Burnley
Bournemouth v Tottenham
West Ham v Southampton
Wolves v Fulham
Cardiff v Crystal Palace
Newcastle v Liverpool
Chelsea v Watford
Huddersfield v Man Utd
Arsenal v Brighton
Man City v Leicester

Women's F.A Cup Final
Women's F.A Cup Final on Saturday, West Ham v Man City at Wembley 5:15.
The FA say they want to promote Women's football and what better way than having a massive crowd at Wembley on Saturday.
Both Man City and West Ham's mens teams were due to play on Saturday as well, so West Ham asked if their game against Southampton could be brought forward to 12:30 so that any Hammers fans who wanted to go to the Final could make it in time.
The F.A refused saying "that it would inconvenience fans" so was not possible. 😠
But after the European Quarter Finals Man City's game against Leicester is moved to Monday night, and Liverpool have to travel to Newcastle on Saturday night ... try telling Leicester and Liverpool fans that is not inconvenient!!
As far as Saturday's game goes it will need a miraculous performance and Man City have already beaten West Ham by 7-1 and 3-1 this season, but who knows??

Premier Predictions (Week 36)
Fixtures coming thick and fast now.
This weeks start on Friday night with Liverpool's easiest game of the season, followed by 6 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.
Hopefully Tottenham will be thinking more about Europe and avoiding injury and following the recent trend of top 4 hopefuls by losing at home?
The last relegation place might be decided if Fulham keep up their mini revival and Brighton actually score a goal?
The new ambition of some clubs is to finish 7th? Watford v Wolves is the big game in that "battle" with Everton hoping to join in.
Sunday has Man City's toughest game on their run-in away to Burnley, and Man Utd v Chelsea looks like the battle for a 4th/5th place as Arsenal are doing their best to throw away 4th.
Liverpool v Huddersfield
Tottenham v West Ham
Crystal Palace v Everton
Fulham v Cardiff
Southampton v Bournemouth
Watford v Wolves
Brighton v Newcastle

Premier Predictions (Week 35)
Here we go with another mega week of 14 games over 5 days.
6 matches on Saturday, 3 on Sunday, 1 on Monday, 2 each on Tuesday and Wednesday.
If Liverpool and City win their games the lead will change 5 times in 8 days .... IF?
Man City and Tottenham go at it again Saturday lunchtime if they've got anything left after last night's amazing game.
On Sunday Cardiff might give Liverpool a game as they still have an outside chance of staying up?
Brighton have 2 tough away games and on recent form they will lose badly.
Wednesday night is the Manc derby which looks like City's toughest game on the run in, but would United fans be upset if they lost?? 😉
The 3rd to 6th place teams still have plenty to play for.
In the competition with just 4 weeks left and a Biopunk win would just about wrap it up, but none of us are out of it yet.
Man City v Tottenham
Bournemouth v Fulham
Huddersfield v Watford

Leicester v Newcastle
Tottenham v Huddersfield
Brighton v Bournemouth
Burnley v Cardiff
Fulham v Everton
Southampton v Wolves
Man Utd v West Ham
Crystal Palace v Man City
Liverpool v Chelsea

Chances are the top 2 will change places 4 times in the next 7 days?

Premier Predictions (Week 31 + F.A Cup)
Just 5 Premier League games this weekend, but as we have 4 F.A Cup Quarter Finals it's going to be a mixed competition this week 😎
All count in the weekly - * 90 Minute scores in the Cup games *
So 6 games on Saturday, and 3 on Sunday.
A few tricky games to call in the Cup, and mainly games affecting the bottom end of the league.
Watford v Crystal Palace (FAC)
Bournemouth v Newcastle
Burnley v Leicester
West Ham v Huddersfield
Swansea v Man City (FAC)
Wolves v Man Utd (FAC)
Millwall v Brighton (FAC)
Fulham v Liverpool
Everton v Chelsea
Good Luck All 🙂

Premier Predictions (Week 30)
What a great week in the Champions League, great wins for Man Utd, Ajax, Porto and Tottenham.
Looking forward to V.A.R next season even if it does take ages at times 😉
Back to the League, 7 games Saturday and 3 on Sunday.
The top 2 should win? Arsenal v Man Utd would have been the top game 10 years ago but now it's a top 4 qualification battle.
Huddersfield and Fulham getting to the "must win" stage.
Crystal Palace v Brighton
Cardiff v West Ham
Huddersfield v Bournemouth
Leicester v Fulham
Newcastle v Everton
Southampton v Tottenham

Premier Predictions (Week 27 + Week 28)
Time for another double bill of Premier League action.
Week 27
Kicks off on Friday night for some reason? 2 games Friday, 4 Games on Saturday and 2 on Sunday plus a bonus game of the League Cup Final between City and Chelsea (wonder if Chelsea can keep it below 6?).
2 games have been postponed because of this so Everton and Brighton fans have a weekend off.
The big one is at Old Trafford on Sunday, Liverpool needing a point to stay clear of City.
Cardiff v Watford
West Ham v Fulham
Burnley v Tottenham
Bournemouth v Wolves
Newcastle v Huddersfield
Leicester v Crystal Palace
Arsenal v Southampton
Man Utd v Liverpool
Chelsea v Man City (LCF) (90 Minute Score)
Week 28
4 Games on Tuesday, 6 on Wednesday.
Can West Ham do Liverpool a favour? unlikely 😢
Chelsea face Tottenham with Harry Kane probably back?, if Sarri can grab 3 wins in the next week I reckon his job is safe 🤣
Cardiff v Everton
Huddersfield v Wolves
Leicester v Brighton
Newcastle v Burnley
Arsenal v Bournemouth
Southampton v Fulham
Chelsea v Tottenham
Crystal Palace v Man Utd
Liverpool v Watford
Man City v West Ham
Good Luck All 😃

Gordon Banks
Really sad news that one of the true legends of Football died today 😢
Gordon Banks was 81 years old.
England's keeper in the 1966 win, and but for a mystery stomach bug before the Quarter final against West Germany in 1970 might have been a two time winner?
He had a long career with Leicester and then Stoke. I think I saw him in the flesh at least once but can't remember what the result was?
Everyone is going on about that save from Pele in the 1970 World Cup, but the one that I remember most is the save from Geoff Hurst's penalty in 1972 League Cup Semi Final which stopped us making the Final that season 😭

Premier Predictions (Week 26)

Fulham v Man Utd
Crystal Palace v West Ham
Huddersfield v Arsenal
Liverpool v Bournemouth
Southampton v Cardiff
Watford v Everton
Brighton v Burnley
Tottenham v Leicester
Man City v Chelsea
Wolves v Newcastle

Premier Predictions (Week 25)
11 games this week.
7 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, 1 Monday and a bonus re-arranged game on Wednesday.
Could be a big week at the top, Man City have a tough game against Arsenal, but really need a win.
West Ham surely can't collapse for a 3rd game on the trot? playing Liverpool not ideal but a win in this one will give us a reason to forget the last week.
On Wednesday Man City play Everton which is pulled forward from League Cup Final weekend.
Tottenham v Newcastle
Brighton v Watford
Burnley v Southampton
Chelsea v Huddersfield
Crystal Palace v Fulham
Everton v Wolves
Cardiff v Bournemouth
Leicester v Man Utd

Premier Predictions (Week 23)
8 Games on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.
Kane and Son will be gutted at missing the trip to Fulham where they should have grabbed a lot of goals? (Arnautovic to Tottenham for £100m? or he could go to China and win nothing there either).
City go to managerless Huddersfield and should win easily.
Liverpool take on bogey side Palace who currently look unlikely to repeat past heroics at Anfield.
West Ham v Bournemouth usually has a few goals, mostly offside ones from Bournemouth.
Wolves v Leicester
Bournemouth v West Ham
Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Man Utd v Brighton
Newcastle v Cardiff
Southampton v Everton
Watford v Burnley
Arsenal v Chelsea
Huddersfield v Man City
